    Al-Lydd, in the ruins of a Mandate-era structure whose glory days have passed, now called “the Club,” the launch of Elias Khoury’s novel My Name is Adam: Children of the Ghetto, translated into Hebrew by Yehouda Shenhav-Shahrabani.
